#1 Tiamat Rat – Dead (RIP)
Mmmmm….Dicerape!

When the dice speak so clearly, all one can do is listen.

Handicap: Greatest. Leaves me with one gutter runner.
Turn 1: Second action, Rat Ogre blocks…Skull Skull
Turn 2: First action, Gutter Runner dodges…1, 1
A short time later…the Rat Ogre Blitz-dodges in a desperate bid to get the ball that our first two turn fiasco cost us possession of…RIP. Glory Be.

We score easily enough our first drive of half two, making it 1-2, though it costs us Scat’s AG5 Leaping ability as he lands in the BH box after trying a valiant Leap-Blitz 2 die against on the ball carrying beastman.

No apoth, outnumberd by a mile, I consider just lying down and giving up, cutting my losses. A little voice in my head says “But…your skaven NEVER give up! Drat That Rat has played against all odds without hesitation! Get out there and do it!”

Grim determination. Screw this dice rape. Send out the last gutter runner and Combat Rat to get that damn ball back. Combat Rat makes the blitz, 2 dice against. POW! Ball scatters into one TZ. Matt the Rat gets up, pounces on the ball, and scampers away into the End Zone for the equalizer with one turn to go.

The kickoff is marked by a driving snowstorm, making any further scoring impossible! With a tie game, and at some great cost, Drat That Rat again cling to their Ladder rung like the drowning rats they are!

Of course, Nuffle again ‘favored’ the Rats with paltry winnings…losing a player a match against all these bashers and getting consecutive 1’s for winnings is not helping…Although Matt’s deserved MVP did allow him to gain some extra skill with no adverse effects!

#3 Space Invader – Serious Concussion (-AV)
Yes it was a dice rape in the beginning and ended with a late lucky 2d against and ball pick up in 2 TZs and a tying score. At least my apoth failed on the -AV CW in turn 3 and my claw beastman failed 3 KO rolls and missed the last 11 turns. A silly misclick on my blitz in the beginning of the 2nd half most likely cost me the win as it would have most likely delayed your scoring. I guess the bad luck will always be there throughout the game.

And as I stated earlier, apothing the MNG SV ended up getting you the tie but cost you the RO. Who knows, maybe having the RO on the field would have gotten you the tie too. A painful tradeoff, but on the bright side, at least you have no players out for next game :-p AND your tr/ts are low enough for my dwarves to challenge you ;-)

Thanks for the match. GL with your bwave wittle wats
