“Clearly, the Adherents of the Divine Hand are our bête-noir. This is the third defeat in four games.
One of my nigglers missed the game, so I had no reserves. Rising Star was niggled in the first block (appo failed, as he has done the last three times) and a few moments later we were reduced to 9-8 players for the remainder of the game.
We could have tied the game if Uncontrollable Rage had not failed a pass that would have lead to a TD. He fumbbled and the Adherents then scored the 1-2.

If only we were this consistent vs anyone else.......
The injuries were crucial in this game, with key players out of action it kept the adherents in the game... then the break came at the end of the 1st half, perhaps inspired by Uncontrollable Rages heroics that lead to the 1st CoN TD (which included multiple dodges and a pick up and pass in 2TZs) Serilieus took advantage of Unco. Rages fumble, picked it up in a TZ and passed it off for a TD run in... a very fortunate 1-2 lead at the half!!!
The rest of the match was a shoot-out... but the adherents never fell behind again. Our dice weren't as good as previous occasions vs Canales (53% vs 70%) but they certainely came through for us at the crucial times :-D
