“Wierd game.

I guess we would have never ever played, if not forced due to the seeding. It was a huge problem finding a spot and I am sorry, that in the end he had to play until 5 am.

The game was marked by inability on both sides. Noone managed to score on the own offense - all scores were defense turnovers.

First one happend, when I missed a knockdown on his ball at a clean 2d blitz with reroll. His star-BoB screwed up reall bad (4 skulls), leaving me another 4 blockdice on the ball - and this time I even managed to knock the ball lose. Griff took it, managed not to get chainsawed and scored.

2nd drive I nearly managed the 2-0, but his wiz blew down griff the blitzer covering him on a fireball.

My offense was shaped by inability. My guys didn`t react on the kick, leaving the orcs to set up a perfect defense. The wiz who should blast a hole in the defense didn`t hit the troll and the BoB on the front and the thrower (AG4 sure hands) managed to drop the ball while recovering the short kick. The orcs took the ball and the ballcarrier survived another clean 2d-blitz with RR to score.

My 2nd offense got really bogged down with excessive BHs against me and mediocre rolls to free up the recievers - so the pass never came. Fortunatelly the orcs missed to put pressure on the ball, so they couldn`t score too - but nobble fouled Griff KO.

Fortunatelly Griff recovered from the foul and was ready for overtime - orcs recieving. After Griff and another blitzer put pressure on the ball, it was again Ruuk Twelvetooth the teamcaptain to screw up with a doubleskull ( orcs had no RR left for overtime). I actually managed to get the ball free and stay on my feet. Finally Lovingness had enough of it and killed his thrower covering the ball, so that griff could recover the ball and hide for another 2 turns.

We both had our share of glorious misfortune and in the end, I was more than relieved, to be allowed to claim the victory. Thx for this tight game and I hope you make it through the quick start qualifiers.”
