Nice words. The match was exactly as i expected it, so no need to whine ^^.
I know the spec hated me for not fouling, but I don't think a foul war could have helped me there. There are way too many targets on the Falcon team to get an advantage through fouling; but knock my 2 best player off the field, and you are facing a rookie team, so no use in hitting you hard (well, i tried, but nothing happend ^^).

Seeing you hiring a wizard was fun. Maybe next time when playing 500 Tr down, you should get some stars, too :-)))

Good luck (but you won't need it).

Luck readings are out due to disconnection 3 turns into the game when my luck was about 62 and my opponent's was either 56 or 52%.

------------------
A real mismatch and a dice rape for my poor opponent who had had his team man handled by the dice. However, he was a great sport and did not complain too much about the awful dice.

The handicaps for starters were not that great for Afro.

I Am the Greatest was good, except one of the two highest SPP players then failed his niggle roll so that was wasted.

It Wasn't Me took out a Blitzer so that was ok.

Duh Where Am I was put on my Witch Elf and it saved his Blitzer from going out of bounds when I snake-eyed 2+ roll (she was going to give an assist to my Blitzer who was in a position to blitz his Frenzy Blitzer out of bounds).

Knuckledusters was given to a player who spent most of the match in the KO box.

Get the Ref2 which was wasted as my opponent did not foul me once, saying he did not want to get into a foul war!

Anyways, I kicked and my opponent pushed me a little in the line of scrimmage and then formed a large strong cage on his left wing in preparation for receiving the ball which was deep with his Thrower.

With 6 players in 9 squares having a chat about the weather, it was too good a target to pass, and my wizard uses his fireball immediately. A Black Ork was badly hurt and another player knocked over. On average the fireball shoulda knocked more over (as I think there were 3 black orks in that group) but an early cas was fantastic.

With one Ork out and another down, I was able to quickly surround the cage and put pressure on the thrower in the backfield. I went for a foul to get rid of one of his two tacklers (I think) and got sent off immediately, doh! He was someone I wanted to skill up with a few passes!

Anyways, it was not long before I was able to get a two dice blitz on the ball carrier (turn 3 I think) but I got only pushes.

Afro tried to set up some defence but his line-orc failed a 3+ dodge and knocked himself out. It was not long before the Falcons stole the ball and ran it deep.

The Falcons stalled whilst they hit at the Greenkeepers who tried to hit back without success. By the end of the half, the Falcons had 10 players on the pitch (one knocked out) whilst the Greenkeepers had only 3! Six were knocked out, one hurt by the fireball and their Troll had been badly hurt but regenerated.

The second half saw 3 of the 6 knocked out players remain out cold (including one of the two tacklers on the team). The Greenkeepers knew it wasn't their day and decided to preserve themselves, with the mandatory 3 on the line and everybody else deep.

This gave the Falcons plenty of time to organise and then set up for a second score about halfway into the final period.

Unfortunately for the Greenkeepers, the 3 starting players remained unconcious and they had little ability to stop the Falcons stealing and scoring again.

Certainly not with the rolls he was getting compared to mine.

With only two turns left, Afro caused his first casualty... a RIP on one of my players. This took his Troll to 16 SPP and at last he had something to show for what would have been a pretty boring and frustrating game.

The Falcons retreated with the game won and not wanting to risk any injuries before the final.
-------------
A very one sided and unfair match for my opponent. Playing against 500 TR higher with cruddy handicaps and then he could not knock me over (he got about 5 knock downs the whole match) whilst I constantly not only floored his players, but kept breaking through his armour and knocking his players out.

If the Dirty Player I fielded in the first half had not been sent off immediately, it might have been worse for the Orks who were certainly not expecting to be have 3 vs 9 on the pitch at the end of the first half.

Anyways... I won this game through a combination of having the much better team, nice handicaps, some great luck, and my opponent choosing to preserve himself and try and minimise damage to his team.

He was a good sport despite the one sided dice rolling and I wish him luck with his team in the future.
