There is no real surprise that the Doom Glade Demons were voted most likely to succeed by the Predictatron. After all when you take a team that is already considered one of the strongest base rosters in the sport of Blood Bowl, add in a training regime that gave them more double skills and STAT upgrades than some entire regions have and combine with an experienced coach who knows not only what he is doing, but who he is facing in the league as a whole and you have a team that thus far has won more than three times the number of games they have ever lost. This is the definition of a killer roster.

The real surprises however, come from the teams who were determined to be likely to succeed, and the teams who weren’t. The 2nd and 3rd place respectively have gone towards the Beerbog Behemoths and the Congregation of Holy Touchdown, slow but dangerous teams that can very easily grind down the enemy team should the stars favour them, and perhaps the fact that they had both won their respective regional competitions before the Summer helps the perception of their capabilities. They can certainly scupper the plans of the faster teams in this bracket, if they can catch them that is.

But if I may be someone to offer an outside pick, there are a scant handful of teams who have ever beaten the Demons, and they did it by doing what the Doom Glade Demons were capable of, and doing it better than them. Eye and Arrow, and Way of the Dragon may have not have gotten the support of the other teams but, they are both one of the few teams that have ever faced off against the Demons and beaten them previously. The Arrows can run the ball as good as if not even better than the Demons at time, and with the retirement of Carol I from CIBBL, Draco Dragovich is officially the most dangerous player in the league at large, and even with their slightly tougher armour Dark Elves are still Elves and can be taken apart if the opposition gets their hands on them.

What a division. So good that Lashweaver and the Eternal Ecstasy don't even get a mention - ed.
