Scribbl Climax II

Second in the list of things that aren’t a particularly big surprise, the Vampire team that doesn’t have some of the major disadvantages that normally would stop a Vampire team from being a dominant force in the league gets a lion’s share of the votes. The Tower of the Necromancer have done nothing but rise since their debut to the league, the aforementioned point helped matters a little but the veteran coach at their head and the well developed roster of dangerous Star level plus Vampires have for obvious reasons garnered them a not inconsiderable number of votes in their favour.
And following right at their heels is the Secret Cult of Shiamoto. There are right now in the league at large two teams that have a combined value that is above 2200, the Demons, and these boys all the way from Northern Nippon with their namesake Oni in tow. Although they’ve had their share of games where the block dice have turned against them, on the whole of it the line of Samurai that make up the team’s backbone make them an incredibly dangerous force to deal with no matter what the opponent brings against them. Count out the Cult at your peril, they didn’t win the notoriously competitive Cathay/Nippon region two years in a row for nothing.
As for teams of note who didn’t get a lot of love the Modryn’s Midnight Meddlers and the Reik River Kicking Mules didn’t get the support of populus, perhaps it is because on the whole agility based rosters are fairly underrepresented in the Secret League at large (And also not many people get as excited about a successful pass then they do about a block that leaves a big red stain on the field). And yet it pays to remember, in a division full of low speed, low agility teams when you have the potential to run rings around your opponent if they can’t catch you, speed is indeed king.
