Scribbl Climax IV

As we go further down the bracket, the difference in votes between teams gets closer and closer. Winning the most favoured spot in Qualifier IV by one vote and very much well earned in eyes it seems are the Trantio Dragon Hawks. For all intents and purposes this team had been thoroughly Ninja Warrior’ed* to the Nth degree, the very first permanent death of a Super Star player in the league happened to this team, as well as few other noteworthy players kicking the bucket or retiring early. They came into this year’s Spring Old World Regional after having just suffered crippling blow after crippling blow from the previous year, and they came out of it with their first ever championship. So it is no wonder that fans are hoping that this is just the beginning of the Dragon Hawk’s resurgence.
And what of 2nd place? Well we have two teams that have made the cut, the first and much older of the two since they were one of the first teams to ever join the League, the Grand Celestial Delegate. The Delegate is a team with fairly mixed history in the league, they are in possession of some of the most developed and effective players to take to the field, and yet they are not quite as well known as some of the league’s mainstays. They have gone toe to toe with a lot of very developed teams and have come out on top, and yet they have never actually won any tournaments. They deserve their seat as one of the greats, but have yet to become ‘the greatest’. But it’s clear from the outset that even with this history, the fans still believe in the Celestial Throne, so maybe this will be your year Cathay.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, a team that had joined Year 2 Autumn with a roster that is normally a little infamous for their incredibly inconsistent performance, and has since become an extremely deadly and rapidly rising force in the League, Offa's Hearthweru. Vampires starting out can be cantankerous and unworkable to deal with, vampires that have a good deal of experience to their name are more flexible and reliable. Vampires that include two that sit at ST5+ and a coach that knows how to play around their flaws and exploit their strengths and are also very well developed are the reason why this team despite its inexperience has acquired a top spot in this Qualifier.
* A Nigel Likely invented term for when a team is so utterly decimated in team value due to the death or retirement of multiple high value players that they essentially drop one or even two whole TV brackets. Named after the Ninja Warriors, a Nippon team who at the height of their careers was worth nearly 1990k in team value, but then systematically had all but one member of their original team wiped out until they dropped to just 840k in value at one point. To their credit they have since rebounded.
