Monkey Fox Flow jumps around a little crystal ball, before proceeding to shout into the ball in a needlessly loud manner: "HELLO?! Is SCRIBBL receiving me?!
After quieting down, the enthusiastic Monkey Warrior and no. 2 scorer of the team, finally gets ready for his report in a more civilized manner, by preparing a little herbal tea, after which she clears her throat, taps twice on the Mark of the Dragon on her arm, and proceeds to talk:
"I have not been around for such a long time on this team. I have got 15 matches under my belt, and I still look up to some of the veterans on the team for guidance, such as After the Lotus Flowers Have Opened - although all of us do that. They tell me that I should be more confident in my skills though, and open up more. Be more vocal, especially since I am considered the main ball handler, since I am faster than Mr. Lotus Flowers, and I also have a good grip on the ball. So, er, anyway...
We are very much looking forward to this Summer! Despite being one of the founding teams of this league, and despite always considered to be one of the teams that fans always believe is on the verge of breaking out and actually winning something, we never quite seem to manage. We hope to change that this Summer, and take our rightful place among the 20 teams for the SCRIBBL Climax next year. In short, Qualifier IV is going to be the Celestial Qualifier!
She chuckles for a moment, before continuing to analyze the opposing teams:
"We have already claimed a victory over the Shroomwood Attercops! That was quite a thrill, and we enjoyed that a lot, although I personally thought those spiders were creepy! I had to meditate for a full hour to regain my composure after the match in time for the evening celebrations...
Offa's Hearthweru - We have heard about these vampires. Apparently they are fearsome in their abilities. We see them as possibly our biggest challengers to the Qualifier, but we believe they can be made to break and bow to our ways - even if it requires us to target their underlings so we can then gang up on them.
Trantio Dragon Hawks - We have faced these 'dragon' pretenders twice before, although this happened long ago. We are tied with one victory and one loss. We would gladly show them their place and show them who the true Dragons of CIBBL are.
Tsunami Terrors - It is true, some of us Monkey Warriors are terrified of baths. But we feel more than ready to face our fear and show these so-called Terrors that the only true terror is the terror in our hearts.
Ali's Anarchists - Ali's Anarchists are a hateful bunch, stuck in a past they feel they cannot change. We pity them.
Rotfall Ironworks Rocketeers - Cathay discovered explosives and gunpowder many years ago before these filthy little things even knew what sentience was like. We take the threat of the Rat very seriously, but we also believe that the Western threat of Clan Skryre is hardly anything to worry about compared to the threat we are used to with Clan Eshin.
True Roots of Khaine - We do not know why the bark of these trees have started to rot, but we do realize that containing them and chopping them down is essential. We cannot afford our Cathayan forests to contract this sickness of the soul. We admit though, that taking these trees down might not be an easy task. What would be easy though, is out-maneuvering them. Even Peach Blossom Water can outrun these things!
We believe that some of these teams are bigger threats to our victory than others. However, we also feel that the time is now for the Grand Celestial Delegate to truly bloom into its potential. Thank you!
