Scribbl Climax VI

Welcome to CIBBL, the only league on the network where the most favoured team to win in a qualifier, is one that is normally slanted for being a near joke team in many other leagues and which only joined back in Autumn last year. And yet the Sabre Mountain Rattlers stomped into the league at large with their revolutionary tactics, namely the one where you field eight Ogres on the field and slowly walk through and over the other team to score. They have already come out on top with a 1st place victory in the very first Eastern Steppes and Mountains of Mourne regional as a result of these state of the art tactics. Joking aside they are not an agility team by any stretch of the imagination, if there was a level below Dwarves and Khemri in terms of how non-agile this team is they would be there (Snotlings don’t count shush), but you don’t need to go fast when your average strength is 5.
In the many and varied flavours of Agility teams within the league at large they generally fall into two types, Elves or Skaven. Fangsnapper’s Clawpack belongs to the latter category, only whilst the regular Skaven team has no shortage of fast but fragile players to bring to bear, Clan Mors made the decision to trade in its cloth for steel and its cheese for raw beef. They also traded in their Chainsaws for the Red Guard, 7338 Skaven Blitzers that additionally come with Pro by default, because suddenly being able to field way more players with base Strength access that won’t get sent off at the end of the half than most other Skaven teams means that you might not be as fast as other Skaven, but you are a hell of a lot tougher.
The great thing about these qualifiers is that they take a lot of the more weird and wonderful teams that normally would probably never see a game together outside of Autumn, such as the K’r’shh Sl’ppr’ss. The Slippers (I’m not faffing around with apostrophes I apologise) for once have the exact kind of bracket they thrive in, a not insubstantial amount of teams who in response to getting up close with the Prehensile Tails of the Snakemen, won’t just immediately punch them in the snout. Of course those teams still exist but at this point in their careers they have had a whole year to prepare accordingly. Everything from this point onwards will depend on their ability not to get savagely beaten into the dirt, will they slither around the competition or end the day as someone’s new belt?
