And the last and final team voted most likely to win their qualifier, is a tie! A tie between an agility team and a bashing team no less, therefore we are going to have to talk about both! Representing Team “Fast” we have the Ulthuan Barracudas. With the disappearance of the previous Sea Elf team that dominated the waves of the Great ocean a new team has stepped forward, just as heavily armoured and just as agile. In the ball handling sense that is not so much the actual running sense, they are quite easily the slowest AG4 team in the league but considering the teams arrayed against them in this qualifier are for the most part are some of the most nastiest, meanest and aggressive teams in the entire league at large, it’s no wonder that in their eyes a little less speed for a lot more armour would be a real lifesaver, in more ways than one.

Representing Team Furious are the Snagruk Kurgans, which also marks the debut of the new Kurgan race to CIBBL, coming soon to a Secret League near you! The closest comparison teamwise for these boys could be the boys from Norsca, with many of their positionals bringing either Block or ST4 to the table, making them a hard team to bash against straight out of the box, especially for a lot of these new teams that have next no development at this stage in the league. The important differences however, is the blanket team access to the Mutation skill set giving you a team that could be considered the ‘mid-point’ between the Norse (Who start out strong, but lose traction as the TV increases) and the Chaos Chosen (Who start with very little, but quickly gain steam with TV) for a team that with development will become a force on the field, but at this point in the league is still an effective if barebones roster to field in this Qualifier. Given time this team, and in fact a lot of the teams within the Eastern Steppes/Mountains of Mourne region will be leaving a great, fist shaped impression on the league.

And that’s not the only new team debuting, another Chaotic roster joins the fold this season, this time straight from the far east of Cathay/Nippon comes the Kundun Soulbutchers, marking the league debut for the Hung! The Kurgans may have been a conventional force on the outset, but the Hung or something else entirely without anything to directly compare them too. Foul Appearance on the main ‘Blocker’ pieces;, mostly MA5 across the team, a Grab/Wrestle piece with GM access, no agility access to be seen and blanket M access for all pieces. This eclectic skill set is possibly an explanation why they have not received as many votes in this qualifier, but given the time and development - like most Chaos teams in a way - they will become something to run from (I mean they are mostly MA5 it wouldn’t be hard). For now they will have to fight horrible toothy maw and dastardly slashing claw for their victories, it’s a hard road from this point on but the ultimate prize is worth it.
