Scribbl 13 PressConf Bear Clutchers

Razmus walks onto the stage, followed closely by a young female kangor. Taking off a simple cap and takes a seat at the press conference table while Tauri take a position behind and to the left of him. She slowly rocks on her feet, watching the crowd.
Razmus: First, I'd like to thank the CabalVision™ for allowing us to continue to play, and the SCRIBBL for their fine coverage and for setting up today's press conference. I'll start with a prepared statement.
He takes a sheet a paper from his jacket, unfolds it, and begins reading.
Razmus: "The team has been thru several tough seasons. By displaying grit and determination, we feel the worst is behind us. We've started delivering as well as we've taken, and every member of the team deserves part of the credit. We look forward to the opportunity to reconnect with our friends in the spring regionals where we look forward to our fine tradition of preventing the winner from having a perfect season."
At this time, I'll answer a few questions. Yes?"
SCRIBBL: On what have the Bear Clutchers been focusing over the winter? Any training, special diets, new skills or players?
Razmus: chuckling Well, in fact, the whole team have been quite taken by clover pellets and malted barley biscuits. The little guys, as you know, will eat their weight in eucalypt, which Mister Yi assures me is perfectly healthy. And half the team is new... so we've been running the standard fitness and agility drills. Ball handling drills are new for us, and we're still checking to determine what oils or scents are legally applied to the ball. Given some of the Blood Ball we've seen lately, we're pretty sure the touchdown applies, even if the ball is in the stomach or pouch of the player.
Yes?
SCRIBBL: What are your hopes for spring?
Razmus: To survive with an intact team.
polite laughter from the press
Razmus: As you know, while our regions has some of the friendliest coaches, and our spring season is relatively brief, it is no less bloody. Bhubaneswar is the oldest team in the division and possibly the most dangerous, but her tiger demons are showing their age and slowing down. The Library, if anything, has had a worse time fielding players than we have, for all their strength. The Krillish Slippers are the...
SCRIBBL: I believe you mean the K'r'shh Sl'ppr'ss.
Razmus: Isn't that what I said? sighs The snakefolk. They're the youngest team... they're slippery and wily. They might just be hungry enough to take it this season. But we'll give 'em heck.
In a friendly, competitive way, of course.
As I said. Friendly group... but there will be blood. Hopefully there will be enough of us left at the end of the season to enjoy a few drinks before we go our separate ways for the Summer.
Behind Razmus, Tauri appears restless.
Razmus: I'm afraid that's all we have time for. I'll see you beside the pitch this spring.
