I think it's going great so far. Revenues are up, attendances are up on last year. It was a shame to lose the Argonauts mid-season but we've managed to get Rochefort in to fulfill the remaining fixtures.
In all I'd say its shaping up to be another stellar season in DLE2.

Some critics out there would say that this is an inferior Blood Bowl league, say compared to DLE, what do you say to them?

I would strongly disagree with that. DLE2 is a robust league with exciting teams, Super-Star players and some good coaches.
I think its unfortunate that we share such similar acronyms. Some people see the "2" and assume we are a junior or feeder league to them but that's just not the case.

The simple fact is that due to an admin issue at the Empire Blood Bowl Register of Leagues office our registration was delayed. That meant that they managed to get rubber-stamped before us. When ours went through the process someone there noticed the similar names and rather than seeking us out for clarification they stuck the 2 on it and now cant be changed.

We have tried numerous times but they tell us we would need to shut down the league and draw up new charters and documentation to start over.
Apparently there's no way to remove, amend or cover up the ink on the current registration documents so it requires a brand new set to be made up, membership cancellation fees and then a re-joining fee.

Well no, not really. We could easily afford to do it, I just don't want to fill out all that paperwork again.
Plus if I have to pay those fee's then we cant afford to send me and my family on the 3rd annual holiday and Mrs.T'Murkhaund will flip out, can't be having that.

Reid suffered a serious injury during this weeks match up with the Almshoven Paladins in which the Rage suffered a 4-2 defeat.

Not happy if I'm honest. The Paladins were there for the beating but some slack play on defence allowed them too much freedom and they punished us for it.

You joking? We had just scored a great Touchdown ourselves. It was practically the end of the half and my Defence has switched off. The scrimmage line guys get slapped about something silly and the rest of the guys who were already heading back to the locker room just stand and watch as la Rochelle prances about and then jumps over Reggies head.

I mean has anyone checked to see if la Rochelle is not actually an Elf 'cause thats just not on!

Andre got you back in the game at the start of the second half with a quick TD though.

Andre dragged us back in to it and I thought from there we would push on and were probably looking favorites for the win but then Anders suffers an injury chasing down de Brey on what would have been a TD saving blitz,it turns the game on its head again and the Paladins took full advantage of it.

It's looking like a smashed collar bone and will likely keep him sidelined for the Chargers game.

These kinds of injuries often prove fatal to a players career, how do you see it going for Anders?

Thats not always the case but unfortunately for Anders he was already suffering with a lack of dexterity from a previous injury so to compound this further with another making him weaker in the tackle it's put him in a precarious position on my roster.

So could this be the end of his journey with the Rage?

I wouldn't necessarily say it's the end but we will have to look at the possibility of strengthening that position in the upcoming draft or possibly hosting some Champion Trials but we'll have to wait and see what the butchers bill is once the apothecaries have finished with Anders.
