Intoxicated Mayhem Coach: Erickan Total Seasons: 21 (SWL 40 to present) | Intoxicated Mayhem is an extremely experienced team, having lived through 21 seasons of the SWL. They have placed in the Premier League on 10 occasions (SWL 47, 50, 52, 53, 54, 55, 57, 59, 60, and 62) with a best finish of 4th (on multiple occasions). The team is focused around a core group of incredible players, fielding 5 Legends as of the start of SWL Season LXII. They are a regular fixture at the top of Conference play and the Premiers, and should never be underestimated. Currently on Hiatus.
Wings of the Condor Coach: Relezite Total Seasons: 4 (SWL 58 to present) | Wings of the Condor joined the SWL in Season 58, and quickly rose to join the Premier in Season 60, achieving 5th position. They maintained their place in the Conferences until season 62, where they placed second in the High Street Dandies Conference. In Season 63, they return to the Premier. Wings of the Condor are well known for their abnormally strong, agile, and fast elves, with some players outstripping even the legendary Wardancers in these areas.
Colour of Money Coach: Pjj Total Seasons: 1 (SWL 61 to present) | Debuting in SWL Season 61, Colour of Money, against all odds, entered the SWL conferences in their second season. Looking to be the Southern Wastes' first ever Premier Goblin team, no one is too certain about their chances. Colour of Money's attitude certainly belongs to the Goblins, with Jan Kervie earning the Bronze Boot in his first season. One thing for sure, though, is there Goblins' cutthroat attitude and dirty approach on the pitch make them clear crowd pleasers.
Banner of the Black Stag Coach: buuface Total Seasons: 6 (SWL 56 to present) | Debuting in Snorri's Regional LVI, Banner of the Black stag have competed in 6 consecutive SWL Regionals despite suffering massive attrition over the last three seasons. Clinging on to the hope of grooming a Yheti to stardom, they have yet to have one survive an entire season. The team is currently being carried by the superstar runner Grumnir and the two Ulfwereners, Baln the Hamfisted and Aeon the Denfinistrator.
New World Winers and Diners Coach: m0gw41 Total Seasons: 1 (SWL 62 to Present) | New to the SWL, the NWWDs are a group of decadent vamps and their entourage looking to experience the very best in unlife: the most competitive bloodbowl leagues, the tastiest thralls and of course seeking out the most interesting company along the way. With this in mind they join up with the exotic and colourful ALIEN for the duration of their tour of the New World. + Having performed to incredible aplomb in the Regionals, the NWWDs climbed to the Conferences in their second season.
Urban Nightmare Coach: Wex Total Seasons: 1 (SWL 62 to Present) | A strange Chaos team serving under a former (clearly insane) Witch Hunter, the team Urban Nightmare is a group of friendly (to each other) and helpful (to each other) players. Looking to play in an unusual manner, this team is sure to make waves in the SWL. Led by Ball Carrier and Captain Reinaut "Roundabout I" van Daalen, Urban Nightmare entered the Conferences in their second season.
Striking Thunder Beards! Coach: Manzoo Total Seasons: 0 (Debut in SWL 63) | Until recently no one had heard about this team. Apparently, the Dwarfs showed up drunk at the SWL's headquarters babbling gibberish about beards and some ancient Bloodbowl prophecy. The league directors, desperate to be rid of the rabble, allowed them into the Emily Regional. Can these newcomers make an impact in the SWL? Not likely when you consider their terrible performance in The Trial of Blood. Then again, who knows? The Dwarfs seem to be quite adamant that winning the premier league has been foretold. Keep an eye out for Blocker, Roy Nelson and Runner, Forrest Gump. If the team is to have any success, they need to keep those two alive and relatively sober. |

REALLY High Elves Coach: Smegish Total Seasons: 5 (SWL 13 to SWL 17) | Playing a total of 40 league games, REALLY High Elves were one of the earliest High Elf teams in SWL. They took a season to get going, then had a quick burst of activity, rushing out of Regionals in SWL 14 and falling just short of qualifying for the Premier League a season later. Injuries and mediocrity marred the rest of their career, with their coaches frustrations leading him to retire them perhaps a season or two too early.
Agitate Coach: eagle009 Total Seasons: 18 (SWL 19 to SWL 36) | The most successful High Elf team in the SWL, Agitate played 121 games, many of them at the highest level. Their first season in the Premier League was SWL 26. That was the first of their 6 appearances in the top division over a period of 8 seasons. The high point came in SWL 28, when they finished 3rd in the Premier League. After being Conference runner up in SWL 25 & 27, Agitate won a Conference title in SWL 31.
REALLY High Elves, Speedballin Coach: Smegish Total Seasons: 10 (SWL 30 to SWL 39) | Rebuilding from the ashes of their namesakes, the 'REALLY High Elves, Speedballin' played 69 games in the SWL. Highlights included being a Conference runner up in SWL 34 which lead to their sole Premier League appearance in SWL 35. 'Speedballin' was home to some of the greatest High Elf players to grace the SWL. Unfortunately, the stars were often let down by their teammates disintegrating around them. Never able to keep a full squad on the field for very long, they were unable to recreate their early success. The team disbanded when the SWL shut down during the Great War.
High Street Dandies Coach: Luohghcra Total Seasons: 8 (SWL 40 to SWL 47) | The first High Elf team of the modern era, the Dandies won 2 Conference titles in a short 8 season period. Whilst their 2 seasons in the Premier League weren't as successful, to be in the top division twice for such a young team was quite impressive. Another achievement is the fact that the team finished in the top 3 for all 6 of their Conference seasons. The Dandies focus on style is a fantastic example for other High Elf teams on how to play the game. Conf 1st, prem, conf 2nd (playoff), conf 2nd, conf 3rd, conf 3rd, conf 1st, prem 6th in prem 41, last in prem 47 |
