Buttercup, the youngest member of Farmer Ed's first team, is a crowd favorite for her playful, even whimsical approach to the game. One minute she's charging toward the end zone with the ball, the next minute she's blissfully grazing on the field, seemingly oblivious to the game going on around her. Goats fans know Buttercup uses her alleged absent-mindedness as a trick, lulling opponents into underestimating her before waking up without warning to deliver a timely headbutt or assist in defending the ball-carrier.
