"Tha' sneaky lil runt", as he is affectionately known by his team mates, first came to the U-dogs coach's attention when in a training match he stamped on several opposition player's toes and successfully blamed it on members of their own side. The ensuing punch up left two of the opposing side's players dead, one critically injured and gained "Devious Devia" a place on the U-dog squad for the next game.
A career based on fouling took its toll on Devia having had both his feet ripped off at the ankle by irate opposition players, rather than let thins hinder him Devia simply filled his boots with rocks and nailed them back onto the stumps of his legs. Although this meant he could no longer run very fast it did add to the damage potential of his trademark face stamp.
