One of desperately few positives for the Spiders in a terrible 4th season in the WIL, Skankki joined the team following his stand out performances in the crowd.

Skankki cheered relentlessly throughout 3 losses and 1 desperate draw to ensure that the Spiders’ spirits never hit rock bottom, despite them just not getting it done on the pitch.

The Spiders head coach was so inspired that after match 4 he approached Skankki with a contract to join the team officially.
