Drusilla plans a gathering with the Judge as guest of honor; meanwhile it's Buffy's 17th birthday.

<b>Plot Highlights:</b>

Buffy dreams Dru kills Angel. Buffy & Angel kiss & kiss & kiss some more. Oz asks Willow out. Cordelia refuses Xander's suggestion that they make their relationship official. Giles plans Buffy's surprise party. Dru preps for her own party. Buffy wants Joyce to let her drive. Uncle Enyos berates Jenny. Buffy snags one of Dru's presents, stakes a vamp at her surprise party. Oz is initiated. Arm-in-a-box goes for Buffy. Angel gives Buffy a claddagh ring. The arm is recaptured, the Judge assembled; he doesn't like Spike & Dru. Buffy & Angel crash Dru's party, barely escape. Back at Angel's place, we draw the curtains...

WILLOW: (cringes and slaps her hand to her forehead) Oh! I can't!

XANDER: Yep. Vampires are real. A lot of them live in Sunnydale. Willow will fill you in.

WILLOW: I know it's hard to accept at first.

OZ: Actually, it explains a *lot*.

SPIKE: Well, well. Look what we have here. Crashers.

BUFFY: I'm sure our invitations just got lost in the mail.

DRUSILLA: It's delicious. I only dreamed you'd come. Rrrr.

ANGEL: Leave her alone.

SPIKE: Yeah, that'll work. Now say 'pretty please'.

Judge: The girl.

DRUSILLA: Chilling, isn't it? She's so full of good intention.

ANGEL: Take me!

BUFFY: No!

ANGEL: Take me instead of her!

SPIKE: Uh, you're not clear on the concept, pal. There is no instead. Just first and second.

DRUSILLA: And if you go first, you don't get to watch the Slayer die.

BUFFY: You almost went away today.

ANGEL: We both did.

BUFFY: (sobs) Angel... I feel like I lost you... You're right, though. We can't be sure of anything.

ANGEL: Shhh. I...

BUFFY: You what?

ANGEL: I love you. I try not to, but I can't stop.

BUFFY: Me, me, too. I can't either.

ANGEL: Buffy, maybe we shouldn't...

BUFFY: Don't. Just kiss me.
