A giant amongst men: Played in all 16 games of the Sons 1st ever Black Box Sprint
Hans is the younger brother of Dash Stikkyfingers, one of the original Sons who holds the dubious honour on being the first Son to die on the pitch, after only four games.
Hans Stikkyfingers made his first appearance for the Sons of Brutus in their 83rd game against the Lustria Dracons. It was an inauspicious debut with Hans only playing three quarters of the first half before being knocked out. He'd not touched the ball or made a block, and his game was over.
Hans only missed 2 of the next 102 games the Sons played to become the first ever player to make 100 appearances. During this time he has only been judged MVP 3 times. Whether it's to do with his style of play, the memory of his first game, or the shadow of his late brother Hans simply doesn't attract the fans the same way some of his more colourful team mates do.
His has been a gradual accumulation of respect, and he quietly goes about his business either as a kick off receiver and distributer on offence, or a swinging safety on defense. His selfless nature has made him a favourite amongst his team mates, and his leadership is revered within the locker room and on the pitch.
Hans suffered a career ending injury in his 103rd game for the Sons. What was to be a recovery game quickly became a bloodbath. A foul from a Hobgoblin initially appeared fatal, however the apothecary was able to revive Stikkyfingers. Unfortunately the Doc was unable to remove the broken boot sprigs from Hans' broken neck.
Hans has expressed his desire to retire, however the team has asked him to stay on long enough to cement his legacy.
In his 111th game, with the Sons making their first appearance in a tournament, Hans suffers a serious concussion. A first round exit for the Sons from the Crown of Sands qualifier, and for Hans his final game for the Sons.
Hans has agreed to take a position as staff and will be responsible for skills training.
