Updated Sept 9th 2013, after 92 games
Scaly is the captain of the team that bears his name. He is something of a peaceful giant (one game with 2 cas, otherwise never more than one), and he is the team's top scorer (34 TDs in 92 games, with the #2 (a skink)
retired after scoring 24 TDs in 59 games, and the #3 (a skink)
sitting at 21 TDs in 79 games (though most of those were recent so he's catching up).
Scaly's carreer started off spectacularly. His first SPPs came from scoring 2 TDs in a single game. This earned him +ST! Feeding him with TDs has had its effects: His second skill roll (after his 5th TD) was +AG. I considered taking it, to make him a dedicated ball carrier. However, with ST5, 0 skills, and only 4 GS skill rolls to go until legend, I thought it would be a waste. Despite staying AG1, he's been the team's top scorer for quite a while.
He made legend after his 92nd game (team's 94th). He rolled +AG for the second time, and skipped it again, this time to take tackle.
Scaly is the best player on the team, but nevertheless I tend to field him on the LoS. His ST5 blodge guard, combined with the Krox and a saurus forces strong opponents to dedicate most of their team to LoS blocks, while often forcing weaker teams (tweeners, elves) to avoid blocking the LoS altogether.
Given that Scaly has been on the LoS for most of his 84-game carreer, he has certainly taken his share of pomb tackle hits. It's therefore a testament to his armor that he's survived unscathed, while missing only 2 of the team's 86 games.
