Rumours were whispered about Giva Derufstuf, with some saying he was raised by Beastmen, after he was taken by a raiding party as a small child. They say he was to be fodder for the killing pits where juvenille beastmen are trained in the way of the claw, the mighty blow, and the pile on. They say he fought and survived until discovered by a talent scout who recruited Giva to play for the Sons. Whether these rumours were true or not, no one knows, but the way he played Bloodbowl and the horns on his helmet created a fan following like no other.
