The original captain for the Impunity - determined to triumph Gruff was the raging impetus behind the impugned legacy that came to be. Born of highly accredited dwarven royalty, the prince has always indulged his insatiable lust for blood and the suffering of others - fitting in perfectly to the heartless world of pro blood bowl.
Founding the team with older brother Gnork as his right hand man, with plans for step brother Gnosto to join. Two more brothers Grano and Leghks would also eventually come to the Impunity.
Seeing his elder brother Gnork killed on-field was a devastating blow to him, being overcome with guilt and regret he spiraled into a manic depressive state which would eventually lead to him hanging up his boots. Retiring to a coaching role after captaining the Impunity through times of amazing hardship for their first 38 matches.
Although serious injuries plagued Gruff's playing days (he suffered a smashed knee in only his second match), he was the father figure that kept it all together with his cement-like leadership of the team. Ten years on he is still proving one match at a time that they've got what it takes when it comes to bringing home the bloody mutilated bacon.
