Like all the Exiles, Zeds had a shady past. He got his nickname by always catching a nap at half time to be fresh after the break.
During the the second round of the pro elf XFL the team stayed on the pitch at half time and he went for his 'nap' but actually stole and stashed the team's treasury. In the second half, he faked his own death by going limp after a hit and being dragged from the field by an accomplice while the game went on.
He did a runner with the cash, and decided coaching was better than playing; more cash and less risk. He wound up in Ostland and joined the Wulfenberg Warriors as head coach, faking his CV and changing his name to Zedlin Snatch.
