After many faithful years as a teacher Eck Hammerthrow was caught in an uncompromising position with one of the student's parents. Suddenly under general suspicion, his colleagues only a few weeks later accused him of altering exam papers. Being under too much stress, the usually indulgent dwarf lost his temper in class and in his fit of rage nearly killed a student. For this outburst and his accumulated delinquencies, he was exiled immediately.
When he learned of the Monsters and their tolerance towards expatriates, he had already taken the Slayers' Oath. It has to be doubted whether he has any intention to pull it through though.
Getting more and more accustomed with the game of Blood Bowl, he managed to apply another teacher skill to the game: Confiscating the ball! (Strip Ball)
In his 22nd game he lethally hit a Dark Elf lineman, while the opponent's apothecary was still busy patching up a blitzer who had suffered a deadly strike on his own.
In his 25th game he got his neck broken by a High Elf lineman coach by Harad.
He retired after his 29th game, together with six other Agility Monsters.
