"Ya'ax" isn't the chatty type, even by comparison to Temple Guards on the whole. In fact no-one had ever heard him say anything. He generally just loomed around the place hidden behind his full face mask. For one so big, it wasn't difficult to forget he was there, like a statue you've walked passed hundreds of times.
Given the lack of communication, no-one was even sure what his actual name was. When Lol Chilamoob had arrived they collectively agreed (well "Ya'ax" didn't object at least) to call him Ya'ax - the local word for green. In lieu of any other distinguishing characteristics, it would do.
