Monroe used to be a zombie for Telluride Terrors. During the qualifying stages of Group Skiva, he took such a knock that his head came clean off. When it was patched back on, he couldn't remember which team he was supposed to be playing for! Sneaky as ever, he decided that he would join the Paupers, who were winning.
It turned out to be a wise choice as the Paupers famously went on to win the first ever Hardupp Cupp.
