Bo was the only the second Catcher the Pandas recruited. Though they share similar names, there is no blood relation between Po and Bo. There are conflicting opinions about why Bo was recruited. Some say, it was to take enemy attention off Po, who had become too prominent for his own good in recent games where he posed a permanent scoring and health threat and made himself a lonely unprotected target. Others say that, while Pos latest outbursts of aggression have so far only damaged opponents, even the Panda coaching staff is not certain whether Po might not be out of control and on the way to hurting his own teammates sooner or later, and therefore a second Catcher was needed to have someone in reserve in case Po is ever deemed "unfit to play".

No matter what reason you chose to believe in, Bo has his work cut out for him, burdened with the task to draw markers away from Po but not steal his spotlight. It's an important job certainly, and one that helps out the Panda offense greatly, but how long the talented youngster is contend with playing second fiddle to the star catcher is another question...

Already in his first game Bo demonstrated that he isn't there to share. He scored two touchdowns, won the game for his team, and added one causality to his list of achievments. Never before have the Pandas seen a more impressive debut by a player.

His name means "The Tube Is Civilization" in pandarin.
