Jens Jerommjies, or Jens Gonzalez as he was quickly named by fans and commentators alike, signed for the Cæurs in the summerpause after the 2003 season to ode som flexibility and speed to the Cæurs' strength before entering the team's first season in the OFL.

27 years old and captain of the Groodenreijn Grasshoppers of the Northern Impirial Bowling League for seven years running, Jerommjies had reached a point of stagnation in his career and sought new challenges with the Cæurs.

Brought up at the Norther Dame College in Nuln Jerommjies quickly made name for himself by being by far the fastest rookie in the entire Southern College League. Drafted by the Grasshoppers in 2995 he started of as runner-up Börgler Rushing TD Topscoring Award of the NIBL, and dominating the turf, he took the same award the next six years running including three Staunton Most TD Awards and two Dean Martienne Delarouge MVP of the year Awards ...
