Less Drowned proved to be a crowd favourite for the devoted West side fans of Rottawa. He was voted MVP for both opening games, only barely losing out on a third MVP to Boney Gabriel, who had a 10 SPP night in Montreal for game three. No one's quite sure what has endeared him to the fans so much, but as long as he can 'keep it together' this shambling star will have the support of the hometown faithful.

The Hamilton Tiger-Pact rolled into Rottawa for their week 5, season 1 match, and they were as excited as ever to see their hero, Less Drowned, take to the pitch. Things didn't look good early on in the first half with the home team falling behind 1-0. The coach sent Less out to the line in the dying seconds of the half and he laid out a marauder lineman - he wouldn't return. After Russ Hackson had equalized for Rottawa, the Tiger-Pact were well down on men and pressing for the win. Star Hamilton rusher Dieter Brock tried to lob the ball to safety down field and run out the clock, but Less had other ideas. He sprung out from behind the line, intercepted the ball, stretched out a run and managed to hand it to a waiting team mate, who tossed it to Hackson for the score and the win. Despite the two touch downs by Hackson, the crowd's overwhelming vote for MVP went to star zombie Less for the third consecutive time at home.
