Dawn grew up in silence, never hearing the world around her. The other children of the town taunted her; to escape, she spent most of her time in the woods, learning how to stalk game despite being unable to hear her own movements. One benefit she discovered was her absolute concentration on whatever endeavor she was facing, without the usual distractions others face.
