Berk's Ball Boyz were created initially as a way to keep guests amused at parties. A few Goblins were hired to cavort around a miniature pitch with a foam ball and generally perform various antics to the delight of the crowd.

Alas, it was not to be, the first party was a disaster. The food, music and company were simply divine, but it was when the entertainment started that it all went horribly wrong. To begin with there was applause as the Goblins cavorted and wrestled for the ball, and then someone threw their beer in to the arena, landing in the mouth of Screams of an Eagle. Screams of an Eagle liked the effect so much he decided to share, and jumped from the pitch into the crowd grabbing and throwing the crystalware everywhere (which is a shame, as he was really aiming for the pitch).

The rest of the evening, well, it is no longer discussed, except in hushed tones late at night with the comfort of a very large brandy to ward away the terror. All that is known is that Lady Selachii had to have the foam ball removed from a very embarrassing place.

So, the surviving Goblins* were rounded up and locked in the dungeon while the Master decided their fate. It was a few days later when he heard some of his peers discuss a new diversion they were playing, it seemed that they were using their Goblin servants to play Blood Bowl. . . So the remaining Goblins were offered the chance to play, and the Master took a look around his staff for suitable Loonies to fill the final slots of the team.






*All that was found of Screams of an Eagle were his tabard and his left ear. It is said that the players of the team now pray to the ear before a match, that they may inherit his skill for chaos.
