Sound of the Rain on the Hard Ground was taken into the household staff to assist in grounds maintenance. She proved adept at removing unwanted plants with her unusual method of headbutting them into oblivion.

Sadly, she had another way of removing unwanted fungus from the grounds. This was to pick and eat anything she found. All was well until she found the hidden grotto where a travelling wizard had once stashed their illicit goods. The effect of the magic on the mushrooms was, unpredictable.

Sound of the Rain on the Hard Ground was found after failing to report for her shift two days in a row. The head gardener heard laughing near to the grotto, and found Sound of the Rain on the Hard Ground spinning in circles giggling merrily to herself. She was eventually persuaded to spin in the direction of the house to have her fate decided.

The grotto was never rediscovered, and Sound of the Rain on the Hard Ground never recovered. Her spinning was put to good use though, as Berk handed her a ball and chain and pushed her out for her first game of Blood Bowl.

The Breaking Wind is an aptly named Goblin, as such his Master decided he didn't want him hanging around the house and assigned him to the ice cellars, far away from those of a sensitive nose.

Fed up of using the provided Pick, The Breaking Wind decided there must be a better way of breaking the ice. With a bit of stealing and trading, he managed to cobble together his chainsaw. Now he could hack away at the ice merrily and noisily, he was glad of the unforeseen side effect that the engines warmth gave, he no longer felt like his nose would freeze and drop off.

Upon hearing the frightful noise from the ice cellar, Berk decided to go and investigate. Impressed by the potential for carnage offered by the chainsaw, the Master offered the servant a respite from the cold and a chance to play for his servants team. Only if he could sort his own cover for his shifts though.
