The Dragonback Squigs started out playing a sport involving a heavy club and a snotling. Players had to toss the snotling to an opponent who had to hit the snotling as hard as they could with the club and, whilst it was airborne, run around five stone obelisks to score a point. If the snotling was caught, picked up and touched against the 'clubber', or disintegrated upon being hit, the 'clubber' was out. It did not catch on.

Players sought a new form of entertainment and the Squigs pivoted to the more popular sport of Blood Bowl. After a couple of seasons of 'friendly' matches, the franchise entered the Greenskins Draft Rumble and, using some too clever stunties, worked out a strategy of recruiting those players who were underused by folded franchises or released from active rosters and who, collectively, could pull together and win. The strategy is known as 'Teef-ball'.
