Clan elders decided that it was time to send over a team of their best Gutter Runners and Night Runners to show that the overall excellence of the Skaven race is unmatched! Quick, fast are the rats of Nippon! Man-things, elf-things, and the dwarf scum will be shown no mercy! Nippon will steal, take the Bronze! In the Far East these rats have learned the way of cloak and dagger tactics! Dodging in and out before the opposition knows what is happening. The Stinksnout brother-kin are known to twist a knife in the back or stick a boot into the unlucky, unsuspecting downed player. Once these rats scrounge up the coin a Rat Ogre purchase from one of the Clan Moulder teams will be in order! Unless there is a special in Warpstone snuff! YES! ALL HAIL THE GREAT HORNED RAT!!! Season 9: The season started with Pod play. The Night-Runners' play left coach Thrak Snitchtail pulling fur from his head! Injuries have piled up, slowing the teams progression. Nurg Whiptail will be missed. In game two, 6 skulls in 8 dice really helped to keep these rats from putting up any strong defence. Intra-divisional play began with a loss to the red hot Nurgle "Nasty Boiz". Luckily, the team finally stopped their losing streak vs the High Elves coached by russcastronovo. Still, the "Night-Runners" are winless, but progress has been made... yes, yes. With the inaugural season going horribly, Thrak Snitchtail decided to call his friends in Clan Moulder and worked out a trade. He will send a steady flow of warpstone over for the next year, and Clan Moulder will allow the Night-Runners to rent a Rat Ogre. Warpfang has joined the roster!! Nippon's season has ended without a WIN, Their inaugural season ends at 0-1-6. Although, Skreetch "Jezzail" Longclaw did come away with the "Golden Glove" award for most completions in Season 9 of the NWBL! Yes, yes! Skreetch has earned himself a tin of Warpstone snuff as indicated in his contract, incentives are the best motivation! Just don't ask the packmasters of Clan Moulder, they might whip you in disagreement! Season 9's Bourbon Cup finally saw the 'Rats from Nippon' work effectively together! They stormed their way to the semis, before losing to the DREADED Box Elder Beards. Those damned dorfs won the whole thing! All in all a great run from the Night-Runners! Next up was the FA Cup. A potentially deadly tournament in which the Skaven were vast underdogs. Unfortunaly, Glart Smashrip rolled an ankle and found a boot T1 and was out of action the remainder of the game. High TV orcs proved a tough opponent. The rats lost, but they had their chances. / Rest in Peace.
