Prior to joining the Sticky Cake League, Poison Oak played 2,958 matches over 211 seasons in an all wood elf league. However, at the start of the new year, both parties decided to head their seperate ways. The players on Poison Oak felt that other wood elf teams were "too soft" and "whiney." Whereas, Hilldell Sapleaf, the league manager of the all wood elf league, had a slightly different take on the situation: "Poison Oak is the most penalized team in the history of the league. Their players are known for having a nasty, some would say malicious attitude. Furthermore, they pride themselves on defense. Defense!" Indeed, Poison Oak is known for playing a "diamond defense" that generates almost as many scoring plays as a typical wood elf offense. "That's not the worst part," an opposing coach told us, "the whole roster got overhauled when they joined the Cake. And these new fellas are even nastier than the old pointies. I hear they been dabbling in the herbal potions, trying stuff that folk ain't 'spose to try. I bet the whole squad is either dead or banned from the league by mid-summer." 08 Stunty Jug Champion!!! |
