It started in Ulthuan of places, with heavily armored elves worshipping Mathlann. Now more and more Bloodbowl teams close to open waters joined the sinister cult of the many-named Deep One. Bordeleaux has always been a Dukedom deeply connected to the ocean. It grew rich by its trade, but people got to know the water and the countless horrors deep below the surface. For good fortune they began to worship Manaan, dismissing the Lady of the Lake, as her powers end where the waters start to taste salty. Over the centuries something changed the people worshipping the Deep One. Their skin tone shifted to a pale green complexion, many grew webbed fingers and their bulging eyes seem to never blink. The Duke Alberic, living in his castle made of strange black and oily stone, is also part of the erstwhile dormant cult, that recently awoke all over the old world. He tasked his son Frermund to find the best Bloodbowl players in order to bring glory to the Deep One and despair to the other dukedoms, that have joined the newly founded Draft League Extraordinaire. The Bordeleaux Krakens emerged. Seasons The Bordeleaux Krakens are one of the 16 founding members of the Draft League Extraordinaire and play in the inaugural season in the KoL North Division. Players Henry Dorsett Case is the Duke's Champion for the Krakens. Francis Wayland Thurston is the Coachable Veteran for the Krakens. He was retired after the playoffs of season 1.
