In their inaugural season the Waystone Outcasts finished joint 1st in the Empire Regional with titans of the league Congregation of the Holy Touchdown and Grasparossa, but slipped to 3rd on tiebreakers. Still a great start!

PLAYERS

The Jenfyre brothers were the original stars of the team, but Aurélien Jenfyre sadly met his demise from the boot of a Dark Elf after only 11 games.

The only player to have played every game (at that point) for the Outcasts was Stéphane Duhamel, a lineman who thought he had a career as a blitzer, sadly cut short by a Sandstorm of Settra big guy.

Another linewomen who thought she was destined for greatness, Beluria De Villepin was the biggest loss in the Nagashizzar 'Nihilation in Spring, Y7.

As the first Half Dark Elf to play in CIBBL, Lesrele Naejor was trailblazer, and also a vicious piece of work! Awarded twice for most fouls (Y6 Summer and Y7 Spring), she was instantly recognisable with her trademark blue boots. Having suffered too many injuries she decided to leave the team at the end of Y7 Autumn. Her 58 fouls in 35 games will be a long standing record for the Outcasts.

One of the league's most beloved hardmen (or stubborn bastards) was Glynvor Chabal. He played 40 games for the Outcasts, throwing 100 blocks. But he will always be best known for his ability to play through injury no matter how bad. Eventually the compound effects of all the knocks was too much and he retired after the Y8 Summer season.

Speedy catcher Jennev Moire was the Outcasts most experienced receiver at the time of her death, tripping on a dryad root and bleeding out on the pitch.

Quick on the heels of the loss of Moire, came the death of 49 game veteran, catcher Rylee Mareena. The Outcasts receiving corp had been decimated in just a handful of games. The new rookies were nervous about living up to the long standing trio of Moire, Mareena, and Galain.

The rate of death of key players kept increasing in Y9 with the team's legendary thrower and all time CIBBL stats leader for completions and yards, Sarrion Gilqirelle dying from the boot of a lowly shearl in a dead rubber game vs the Misty Isle Gators.

And only 3 games later the sole remaining founding player, and team captain, Jérôme Jenfyre died leading the line in a sterling comeback vs the Yennla Eternals. Just outside the top 10 most deadly players in CIBBL history with almost a CAS per game, he was loathed and hated across the league.
