The Applesbury Banqueters are on good form at the moment, straight off the back of winning the tri-monthly Applesbury cake eating competition, having scored highly in the 'endurance icing consumption' and 'speed of acquisition' categories. Chef/Coach/Brewer Cindy Ciderhands has been putting them through a stern training regime, testing their robustness (alcohol tolerance), stamina (how many crackers can they eat without liquids), nimbleness (no-spillage jammy doughnut eating), and evasiveness (how long they can fend off hungry halfling toddlers whilst covered in treacle). It's beyond doubt that they'll win the post game buffet (given their typical 16 turn head-start), let's see how they fare in the appetite building match before hand.
