The Sheiks representative entered the wrong alley and got seven knives in the back for his trouble. Going on hard times lately, the assassins guild had signed a contract with themselves, on any wealthy looking individuals entering their territory.

The representative had no coin or jewels on his person, only fancy papers. They were signing papers for a local blood bowl team, the Glorious Gladiators, to join the SLICC on behalf of the Golden City. The guild immediately sent a diplomatic envoy to the Gladiators headquarters, who proceeded to kill the entire team and steal their uniforms, team charter and everything else not nailed down.

The guildmaster started a new Book of Blood, to signify a new era in guild history. He drew up a kill contract on any players they might meet on the pitch and had every member of his new team sign it to show their dedication. Soon the assassins sailed towards the Golden City, on a stolen ship, wearing stolen jerseys and hoping the stolen papers would be accepted by the SLICC administration.
