Dear and gentle reader, we live today in "interesting times". Graft and corruption are commonplace, as are bribery, money-laundering, skullduggery, nepotism, decadence, degeneracy, moral turpitude and all conceivable forms of criminal enterprise. Everything is traded and for sale - especially noble titles and high public office.

And so it is that in our day the once noble ranks of the Blood Bowl playing aristocracy have been filled with vermin, cut-purses, cut-throats, riffraff, scoundrels, impostors, snobs, nouveaux riches, rascals, chancers - indeed every denizen of the worst hives of scum and villainy that this blasted earth has ever vomited forth.

They make a desert and call it social climbing!
