Sunborn of Sarl
Norsca is a desolate land - its winters are harsh and cold. After a long and dark winter, no sight is more welcomed than the returning face of the sun.

The indigenous people of Sarl thus hold the sun in the highest reverance- for without it there would be no life - and they believe human (or otherwise) sacrifice is required to persuade their fickle master to return after a long and dark winter.

Young men eagerly line up to join in Nuffle's revered game; there is honor and glory to be gained. The patriarchy oversees selection - the most zealous are honored with a place on the team; every skull taken is an offering - every man lost dies a martyr.

Winter only just arrived. The Sarl prepare to once more take the field and make their offering to the sungod so that he may return next year, in turn coming late to the regulur season.
