We play by "Hawaii Rules"

What ARE "Hawaii Rules", you ask?
  1. Hawaii MUST throw a Pass on the turn they score. When playing the modern rule sets, they simply must throw a Pass on their offensive drive (not everyone can throw passes any more).
  2. Players should RARELY throw the ball BACKWARDS.
    (NOTE: Dump-Offs are permitted to travel backwards).


The EXCEPTIONS to Hawaii Rules?
  1. It is turn 8 of either half.
  2. A player is about to be surfed or gang-fouled.
  3. The player caught a Dump-Off in the defensive turn.
  4. The player INTERCEPTED a Pass (Running in a Pick-6 is permitted).
  5. The ball lay at rest in the opponent's End Zone.
