Disciples of K'un Lau

Near the foot of Mount Yangming, greatest of the Kamalayan range, it’s long been rumoured there lies a portal to another realm. Stories regarding this wonder tell of a mystical city that can only be found by those that already know of it’s location and even then the stars must align in a specific way only occurring years apart.
A weary traveller discovered wandering the slopes of Yangming was taken in at a nearby monastery. The traveller’s survival in such harsh terrain astounded even the celestial dragon monks. As the traveller’s strength returned it became clear they had been on no ordinary journey, adamant that they had been to the mystical city of K’un Lau. Such tales had of course been heard before but there was a clarity and detail to the traveller’s tales that drew the monks in. Soon even the most sceptical amongst them began to believe it might actually be possible for the mystical city to exist.
Determined that the traveller should be heard and revered the monks began to journey spreading the word across Cathay and beyond that indeed the lost city of K’un Lau was more than just a story but in fact a reality.
After several years it was becoming harder and harder for the disciples of the traveller to continue their work. Many outright rejected them without even giving them the time of day. Running out of ideas they began to splinter and go their separate ways taking an individual approach to their teachings. One such monk found the perfect way to travel the world and be heard by people from all corners of the known world. He discovered blood bowl. Starting with nothing he was barely able to put together a team and it would be a long time before that team was able to achieve anything on the pitch. Importantly though it was a foundation to continue the teachings of K’un Lau.
