Karak Eight-Peaks was once a dominating and masterfully built dwarven fortress, standing proud and strong over its surroundings. The mines were bountiful, the walls impenetrable and the trade beneficial and benevolent. It was a golden era for dwarf kind. It was the best of times.

It was the worst of times. The great walls were no help; the ballista were quiet. At the surface it seemed that all was normal. It was not. Emerging from the tunnels came armies of Skaven. The water was poisoned with warpstone, hulking rat ogres stalked the tunnels, greenskins were manipulated to attack the surface and warpfire raged. With the dwarfs purged, the ratmen turned their attention to driving out the greenskins from the upper areas. The war was bloody and fruitless and would have gone on for centuries had not the noble Clan Mors collapsed the upper levels, claiming the fortress whilst, regrettably, crushing some rivals beneath the rubble.

With the riches that came with the conquest, Clan Mors set to using it to usurp the allegedly greater clans. With advice and sponsorship from a... being found wondering the tunnels, they have constructed the Verminbowl and started training their Stormvermin for a new purpose. For the first time, the City of Pillars has opened its gates and sent forth the united front of Clan Mors: the Clawpack of Clawlord Blistraknaw, set to try and win power, glory and money in CIBBL.
