AVERHEIM SILVER SPURS

One of the founding teams for DLE2020.

Averheim sits outside the normal locale the Bretonnians recruit from for their Blood Bowl league, but the city's wealth and status allowed them to bribe their way into the league.

Famous for their cavalry, the Averheim Silver Spurs prioritize good husbandry practices and put a lot of stock in physical specimens in both their horses and their players. While the team has experimented with filling the entire roster with physical specimens, the coach has changed tactics to focus on making 2-3 ultra-elite players with the remainder of the team supporting them.

Mark "Team" Wurk retires after an illustrious season as the longest tenured Spurs player. A legend of the team, he is the first entry into the Spurs Hall of Fame. A pick that most pundits wrote off as a throwaway roster filler move, Mark quickly became the heart and soul of the team and is expected to be invited back as an assistant coach in the future.

SHY "LE" BUFF

Shy "Le" Buff was the player that kicked off the early season identity for the Spurs of focusing on +ST. He was a founding member of the legendary 6 ST4 players and an Ogre roster in Season 4. Though he had been slated to be traded away for draft capital, in a weird situation, he came back to the Spurs and helped kick off their championship run. One of the critical supporting pieces for the roster's success, he will be joining Mark in the Spurs Hall of Fame
