The competition between the large cities of the empire is very large as regards trade, of art and armament but becomes completely crazy as soon as it acts of Bloodbowl!! After years and years of domination of Reikland Reavers, the city of the white wolf, Middenheim, engaged of the considerable means to train a team of capable BloodBowl to compete with the headlight team of the county of Altdorf. Middenheim Lions were thus officially formed by decree of the Elector Count in year 4003 of the imperial calendar. The best players coming from all Middenland were brought together, of liking or force. The first training and matches of this team of mercenaries not inevitably happy to have been selected gave only poor results. Their capacity to play together was close to nothing, thing that individualities certainly remarkable could not compensate. Each one wanted to have the high-speed motorboat and regarded its partners as rivals. After a series afflicting with 15 defeats with sharpened in matches of preparation, which was to arrive arrived: the Elector Count threatened of hanging the whole team (coach included/understood) in the event of defeat with the next match, official that there!!! The players had of another choice to only react to save their skin and finally started to put their ego of with dimensions. The first official match of the LIONS was memorable, one of most beautiful than one ever saw in Middenheim and which showed a score river from 6 to 0. The play was superb, one would have said that the players knew each other since always. They played with plume and had fun on terrain.Galvanized by this collective victory and having escaped whole with death, a durable bond had been irresistibly created between all the players.
