Sinking fast in a swamp near you. The Tangos recently suffered a freak run of fatalaties at the hands of brutal amazonian linewomen - leaving an already short-staffed team in some serious trouble. This team-breaking game was perhaps saved a little by rising star Komodo Rex's judicious use of the knuckledusters, which sure did keep Tango fans amused. Captain Taipan Bite's mass skink-viagra handout program - a misguided attempt to flood the market with these tasty, err, useful creatures - is a work in progress. Our sponsor's flunkies are seeking a skink called Punka Ssfreeboota who nicked off with half of the seed capital for this innovative project. The Tangos match against Dem Bones was a turning point in their fortune. While it was a loss, and an amusing run against a bunch of elf-impersonating skeletons (who dodged, who passed, who sprinted and who scored...with catlike grace and not a scratch a single skinky scale), it paid well enough to induce another unfortunate..err...skink into the ranks without killing any others. After yet another game being beaten in both blood and bowl, the Tangos remain short of staff and their coach is quickly getting short of interest. A young skink by the name of Mwyr Millgrist has stepped into the ill-fated number 9 shirt - in which no Tangos player has survived more than a game. If he's very lucky he might get to keep it when the sponsors run and the suits turn up to empty the coffers. If he's out of luck the Tango's might just play again...in the unranked division. Making lizardman teams with less than 10 skinks and 10 ff is a bad idea. Skinks don't pass armour rolls much and Lizardman teams can't play without them. |
