The Forger team was born because of a blackmail.
The players were workers in the greatest forge of Melz-anz-Rugal, the southern outpost of the mighty Dwarf Empire.
As the saying goes "greatness brings hate", so it was for the forgers lead by Kraan Balardwarf, arch-blacksmith of the Halav Guild of weapons forger.
Their problem was the rival forge by Colm Lazydwarf and Croc Liardwarf.

With the growth of the outpost rivalry exploded, bringing sabotage, riots, fights and much more.

The last straw was the stealing of the sacred relic of the Balardwarf clan:
the Hammer of Kaghyar which the legends claim created the mighty sword of Halav, the Human god of war and treachery.

To have it back the rival forge proposed a Blood Bowl match.
NONE suspected there was something more and Kraan accepted.

During the month to the match, the forgers trained themselves hardly and steadily.But nothing was sufficient when they reached the designated place.

Nor it was the people(cause their enemies summoned all the population of Melz), nor was the referee(there wasnt any sign) cause the stadium was more like an arena than a pitch.

It was DEATH BOWL!

Treachery and defiance tought Kraan, standing in front of the masses, but Dwarves hold to their words.

The game was legendary: as the Forgers started to lose the mighty Hammer of Kaghyar flew from the hand of Croc Liardwarf.
It started fliyng everywhere hitting and disembowelling all the adversaries, landing in the fiery hand of Kraan himself.

The public cheered for this meant only one thing: the Forgers were deemed worthy of living by the God himself.

From that day the forge had its own Blood Bowl team and its coach Kraan still lives.

Now he's 298 and this new team, formed with the stepsons of the originals Forgers, is very promising...but only Kaghyar will see.
