Roster [X2] Norse

<div style="text-align: justify;">Mass unemployment is a terrible thing. The glut of wealthy merchant ships and unprotected coastal townships a long-distant memory. Raiding and pillaging no more, many a Norseman had turned to thievery or advertising to make a living. This is the story of the fabled band of Norsemen, who rather than lower themselves to base servitude, sailed south in the search of warmer weather and a decent violently-earned salary. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">For twenty days and nights they sailed, battling strong currents, gales and bouts of seasickness, until they came to the Southern Wastelands shore, desolate, rocky and wholly uninviting. Past the cracked mud-desert and gorges, the Norsemen stumbled on a shanty town, comprised entirely of low rate Blood Bowl managers. Though the squaller and stench was unbearable, the Norsemen bartered and pleaded, argued and blustered. In the end, a deal was struck with a manager-coach desperately down on his luck, but with a favour owed him by a rich merchant banker. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">The Northern Blight, happily employed, were ready to take the field. Now if only someone had explained to them just how dangerous Blood Bowl could be?</div>

<B> SWL Season 13 </B> - <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&at=1&group=647&show=10615">Winner!! Mr Whippy's Donut Emporium Regional group </a>

<div style="text-align: justify;">6/0/1 Season, and the Blight are though to the Conferences. Time will tell if it will be a suicidal mistake. <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=2622990"> Rastoven 'Demi God' Tarruff </a> takes the Bronze Shield for most blocks. </div>

<B> SWL Season 14 </B> - <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&at=1&group=647&show=10615">3rd. Maniac Mammallian Conference League group </a>

<div style="text-align: justify;">The Blight knew the conferences would be deadly, and they were. Rastoven "Demi God" Tarruff, our hero of last season, was double niggled and forced into retirement. Also gone to rest is Hammergloff, who was battered by Tales of Misery and Woe in the 2nd round.

Some disappointing games in this season, where a little luck in our favour may have meant a better result. However, it wouldn't have taken much to totally ruin the season for the Blight, so perhaps the coach could be happy for a change? :)

Our finally tally was 4/0/3, continuing the Blight's 'Win or Bust' record in SWL. Of the wins, two were forfeits, but the other two were hard earned against Undead and High Elves. The Blight can take a lot of heart from the season. </div>

<B> SWL Season 15 </B> - <a http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&at=0&group=647&show=13011">5th, Southside Stone Smashers Conference</a>

<div style="text-align: justify;"> A topsy-turvy season, with 3 losses followed by 3 wins. 3/0/4 the final result with no freebee wins. Manager is very happy with how his team is developing. </div>

<B> SWL Season 16 </B> - <a http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&at=0&group=647&show=13011">4th, Manic Mammallians Conference</a>

<div style="text-align: justify;"> A solid effort with the Blight achieving their first ever draw! 4/1/2 with only one forfeit on the last game due to technical difficulties. Some nice skills and stat increases this season. Still sitting on 3 RR, the manager hopes to get 4 by the 2nd game next season. </div>

<B> SWL Season 17 </B> - <a http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&at=0&group=647&show=13011">2nd! Southside Stone Smashers Conference</a>

<div style="text-align: justify;"> So close to promotion! 4/2/1 with 1 forfeit win, and the Blight came ever so close to the big time, only to be pipped at the post. (Curse Laviak!) Injuries becoming a worry (Niggles to Nikoliev and Yanovi, and the death of Silverstram) but a brace of +AGs, a Dauntless and FF11 will keep the team alive. EDIT - Into the Premiership! Some very lucky results mean the Blight go in on the 1st Wildcard!</div>

<B> SWL Season 18 </B> - <a http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&at=0&group=647&show=13011">5th - Premier League</a>

<div style="text-align: justify;">The Blight's first taste of Premier was bitter sweet, with some beautiful victories, marred by mistakes and thrashings of the worst kind. A brace of injuries to our past Key players has cleared the way for the next generation...if the Blight can save long enough to hire them. Premier was tough and hopefully the coach can learn from the experience. </div>
