Over the centuries, kingdoms are born, rise to power and glory, fall into decay and finally crumble to an expanse of ruins; in the end even the memory of their very existence fades away. Vampires remain. Once being the dreaded brutes of the empire, notorious for their maliciousness, they long fell into oblivion. Hence they founded Blutrausch, to restore their former fame, to once again revel in terrifying the masses, to once and for all rise above the mere mortals. Thus they enthralled some of the more promising wizard's apprentices of the Old World colleges to still their hunger for blood, to serve as buffers and to do the dirty work, so that they themselves may shine all the more. |
