In a dank bar in deepest Grottville a gang of Gobbos were commiserating over being picked on continuously, just for being short, weak, smelly and also ugly. After a few thimbles of fermented horse urine their voices got louder and shriller til cries of "They say we have small humanoid syndrome!" - Milko (RIP 4 games) "If they weren't so big we'd show them!" - Fisty (Shattered Pelvis game 1, RIP game 6), "Size doesn't matter, its all about personality!" - Fingers (Smashed Hand game 2, RIP game 9), "Your momma is on top of my things to do list!" - Mini-Runt (RIP 1 game).

Eventually an Ogre with a hangover stomped over to slap the Gobbos back into silence. At the sound of the approaching disaster-machine (with Multi-Block) the gobbos quivered into silence except for Mini-Runt who was partially blind and totally drunk and mistook the Ogre for the bar wench. "Howz aboush it?" he slurred lurching towards the now-enraged Ogre. The Ogre (who was abused as an Ogrelet) charged the staggering Gobbo, lunging at him. Mini-runt fell into the Ogre's feet (he later claimed deliberately) who tripped and went head-first into a ceremonial sword positioned dangerously on the bar wall, killing him instantly.

The Gobbos went delirious, claiming their indestructibility and after a few more thimbles went and signed up for a BB team, the Twisted Weirdos. The existing team members immediately quit, refusing to play with Gobbos, so they changed the team name and hired a new coach with no self-respect and the rest is history!
